The media, the press, the drivebys, the MSM—they still have a ton of power.
Social media somewhat leveled the playing field, but now conservatives are being hunted and removed from almost every platform.
The majority of folks are apolitical. They do not care about things as we do, but when they do catch the news, it is always carefully scripted to get the people hating us.
Many years ago the Left changed their name from Liberal to Progressive, as the Liberal label hurt them with the general public.
We need to consider coming up with a new, descriptive name for our political ideology.
I thought the re-election of Obama in 2012 was a frightening display of media power; he was a known failure, but nobody would say it - heck, they pretended he was a stunning success. 2016 made that look easy; Hillary was such a terrible, corrupt candidate, and she nearly won.
When there are less and less “makers” in each election, the prognosis is grim. This war cannot be won without future generations bred by makers.

I never refer to them as “Liberals” or “Progressives”. There are plenty on the Left who LOVE being called “Liberal”, so don’t be fooled. They hate being referred to as Left-Wing or Leftists because it’s so similar to the denigrating tone that media refers to conservatives as, Right-Wingers. They especially hate it when I throw in the adjective “kooky” with an added condescending tone.
