Great job.
I have gone up and down several times in my life, but it was always pretty strict calorie restriction diets. Problem was, when I was “done”, I started gaining the weight right back.
Last year I tried keto/low carb. Started on Columbus day 2017 when I weight over 250( 57yo, 6 ft 1in tall, probably weight 260+ six months earlier, but I always lose some weight in the summer), by September of this year I was probably 192/3, so about a 70 pound drop from my max. I did keto pretty strict the first 6-9 months (net carbs under 50g), lost weight pretty fast at first. As summer came I was adding back carbs as I felt I was losing energy playing/walking golf in the summer heat. Calorie wise probably averaging north of 2,500 a day, probably gone up the past few months, I have added a few pounds in the fall, but I have also been lifting weights a bit, might be a small muscle gain too.
I went from a 44-46 pant waist down to 36-38, and still there. I plan on keeping eating low carb probably for the long term, not necessarily keto, but closer to a type of diabetic diet even though I’m not diabetic. Avoid all sugary drinks, things with high fructose corn syrup/added sugar, very little bread. Diet is heavy on meat, cheese, nuts, vegetables, and high fiber fruits.
Check out Crave Stop. It will end all your Carb Cravings. I knew it worked when my wife cooked her arepas (made from special Harina Pan corn flour) that is absolutely irresistible. At least it was until I started taking Crave Stop. That’s when I knew it worked since, although I still love the taste of those arepas, I can now avoid them due to a lack of carb cravings. Oh, and the good thing about Crave Stop is it is all natural. No chemicals.
