The First Amendment is clear that it is CONGRESS, not States, counties or towns, that are constrained from favoring one religion over another.
These leftist groups threaten lawsuits, and states , towns and counties roll over to avoid the cost. Then these lefties pick them off one by one, making examples of tzhem so no one else will fight.
Someone has to tell them get bent.
If everyone is allowed equal access, there is no issue, they cannot say your town is favoring one religion over another.
There were state religions in CT and MA when the Constitution went into effect, it was not an issue.
Have your town contact one of the Christian legal groups that fight this swill on a regular basis.
