Lol, I just realized that’s what life is like when you live in a normal place. I’m so far out here in the country that once I go to town I get everything done at once. It is exhausting sometimes. But I do remember in Bakersfield getting to go home rest for a bit and then go out again. The good old days, sort of.
How far is it to town? When I lived in Alpine, TX many moons ago, there was one small grocery store. Once a month a couple of friends and I would go all the way to El Paso to stock up. More variety and cheaper too.
Back when it was safe I used to go to Mexico too for some items that were really cheaper because of the exchange rate.
Walmart was a zoo but that is nothing new, unless you go between the hours of midnight till 5am, you fight the crowds.
Son found another ugly Christmas sweater, in the right size, to wear to work on Fri.
Ye gads, some were so UGLY couldn’t imagine anyone wearing.
I bought FOOD and a few videos.
