What is the old-fashioned method? Cooking it to a certain temperature?
Hersey’s cocoa...test with a cup of cold water...when it forms a ball you can pick up...you take it off the stove and put the pan in cold water in the sink...put vanilla in then and butter. What I mean by old-fashion way is...not microwave....my mom and her mom made it this way.
