Sammy showed up on our deck one very cold winter. We worried about him but didn't bring him in because we already had three inside. He would only appear at night...never in daylight. We just thought he had a working parent. We put food out and even an electric water bowl. Then one day I came home from work and hear loud crying under our house. I went to an opening and yelled kitty...kitty. He came out limping. I called a vet for an appointed to have him checked out and see if he was healthy enough to come inside with our clan. I knew my husbands argument so I got ahead of the curve.
Hearing he was in good health and declawed made the decision even more. The clan all loved him.
