It’s a pretty prominent section, with its own subheader. Basically the Nazi stuff is BS retailed by leftists. How do I know? At one point, I was an avid reader of leftist media at the time, being one myself. The articles were long on innuendo and short on substance. Because they really couldn’t make a case on the substance, they lied their butts off.

Where was Prescott’s great wealth when Dubya was living in a low-rent Houston apartment complex next to a couple of call girls? How did Prescott only leave $3.5m to his survivors?

Now that Bush is dead, they talk about how he was such a great guy compared to Trump. What do they really think? Bush is the perfect Republican - a dead one.

[Union Banking Corporation

Bush was a founding member and one of seven directors (including W. Averell Harriman) of the Union Banking Corporation (holding a single share out of 4,000 as a director), an investment bank that operated as a clearing house for many assets and enterprises held by German steel magnate Fritz Thyssen.[6][7] In July 1942, the bank was suspected of holding gold on behalf of Nazi leaders.[8] A subsequent government investigation disproved those allegations but confirmed the Thyssens’ control, and in October 1942 the United States seized the bank under the Trading with the Enemy Act and held the assets for the duration of World War II.[6] Journalist Duncan Campbell pointed out documents showing that Prescott Bush was a director and shareholder of a number of companies involved with Thyssen.[6]

It is unclear whether Bush was aware of Thyssen’s Nazi connections or approved of them, and some historians even dispute Thyssen’s allegiance to the Nazi party.[9] Historian Herbert Parmet agrees with the assessment that Bush was not a Nazi sympathizer.[7] ]

Talk about suspending disbelief.

The Bush family has kept mostly silent about this issue [the Nazi connection] although some Bush sympathizers claim that Prescott Bush had no idea his bank was funding the Nazis. This claim is highly unlikely due to the fact that Prescott Bush founded the Bank along with a fellow by the name of Cornelis Lievense, who served as the President of the Bank while Prescott Bush was the Vice-President. Cornelis Lievense was a Dutch businessman who was ery wealthy and spearheaded many corporations. One such company was the Domestic Fuel Corporation, which was blacklisted by Canada in 1940 for the same reasons his bank with Prescott Bush was seized in the U.S. Are we to really believe Prescott Bush had no idea Cornelis Lievense was doing business with the Nazis?? You also have E. Roland Harriman, who was the brother and business partner of W. Averell Harriman. The Harrimans are known to have been doing business with Hitler’s regime.

In 1942, many of the Harriman’s business interests were seized by the Government under the “Trading with the enemy act”. Among the companies seized were: Holland-American Trading Corporation, The Seamless Steel Equipment Corporation, Silesian-American Corporation, and of course, the Union Banking Corporation. It is a well accepted fact that E. Roland Harriman was a good personal friend of Prescott Bush. They were both Yale graduates and members of Skull and Bones. Again, the theory that Prescott Bush was not aware of these Nazi ties does not hold water.
