A few conclusions:
1. Russian drivers are idiots. A significant percentage have no business driving.
a. How does a people who live where it has snow 6 months or more a year not know how to drive on snow and ice? See #1 above.
2. Auto-body repair shops is a most lucrative business.
3. Insurance must cost 2 - 3x what a car costs.
4. Never drive in Russia, and if you must get a ride somewhere, hire a tank.
Oh, one more:
Amazed that so many Russians are driving late-model cars - nice ones. They seem far better off financially than I would have expected........
Note that there are a lot of places in Russia that get very little snow normally, but occasionally can get a nice dump. Very similar to mid-eastern seaboard USA.
