I guess the states and locales can do whatever they want but congresscritters are federal elections and there should be NO variance at all IMO....set hrs...set counting ...every precint reporting then and there and no more "found" ballots.....ballots under lock and key with a pub/rat there to guard them. or perhaps the sheriff, but in Broward what good would that do...

and before any "provisonal" ballots are submitted and counted, the names are cross matched on a national register.....

with hi speed computers that shouldn't be a big problem...

There's some lessons here

1. Thanks to my fellow Florida Republicans who got out the vote. It mattered.

2. Fight the cheating and fraud aggressively. We wouldn't be down as many congress seats and maybe not the Arizona senate seat had everyone fought the fraud as hard as Scott and DeSantis

3. Scott didn't attack corrupt election officials and he paid for it (even though he won in the end). DeSantis priority # 1 needs to be investigation and prosecution. People need to go to jail for this. It' the only way it will stop.

But for today - savor the victory

It's not the speed of the computers, it is the unwillingness to share information. The clerks in some localities would not give up the names on the voting rolls with a gun pointed at their heads.

? Way too many of those names would be found to be fraudulent for other reasons (i.e., non-citizen, deceased, felon, duplicate registrations in same state).
