Presumably he and she have made a deal: support her and she’ll find some common ground on “infrastructure” (pork barrel spending), pre-existing conditions, etc.

I do trust him. The GOP shouldn’t count on her to ever help with votes, as pay-back, though.

Trump seems determined to put her in. He knows his endorsement will be an albatross around her neck and taint her leadership amongst the younger, unapologetically socialist, growing AOC wing of the party.
In short, he's using the Democrats' loathing of him to pit them against one another. If nothing else, it's entertaining.
