I lived in So Calif for over 29 years. I left there in May 1993.

When I still lived there, ballots & ballot pamphlets were printed in 63 languages & dialects.

IF YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH, HOW CAN YOU UNDERSTAND THE ITEMS/PEOPLE ON THE BALLOT?

When we immigrated here from Europe in 1952 English language was required for citizenship. If you can’t converse/read English how can you vote intelligently. You may be able to read the ballot in another language now, but how do you know the mind set of the people you vote for?
