“If it is anything like the last time they were hiring Americans they will all be recent college graduates (freshers) who will have Indian bosses that expect them to work like Indians. Long hours for little money. Most won’t last past 18 months.”
Worse yet, they will add significant time and costs to projects they work on, costing companies who hire them millions.
That has been my experience as well... lower hourly rates, but things suddenly take 2-3 times the people and man hours to complete and at the end you have spaghetti.
