29-year-old Democrat Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will be sworn in as a member of Congress come January 2019.
She recently said that she couldn’t afford to land an apartment in Washington DC until her Congressional paycheck kicked in.
“I have three months without a salary before I’m a member of Congress. So, how do I get an apartment? Those little things are very real.”
She lied.

She doesn’t even need to use the $15000 she has in the bank. The FEC allows newly elected Congress members to use excess campaign funds to move and get set up in the new location.
It reports what she had in April which six months ago. What matters is what she has now. Could be less. Could be more. Worthless story.
She’s a Democrat what would be news worthy is if she told the truth.
The real measure will be to see how many millions she is worth in 2, 4, 6 and 8 years.

You must have a lot of ugly chicks in your town. She looks like the bar hag you try to fix up your hairlip buddy with out of pity, maybe even pay her - but only after he’s had a lot of drinks and it’s closing time.
Lots of Congresspeople sleep in their offices because they can’t afford a house at home and another one in DC. She can do the same.
