It is not a question of the chopper’s ability to fly in adverse weather. It is a question of the pilot’s ability to fly it safely. It is the visibility he has to see what obstacles are before him and the ability to land.

Makes sense. Admittedly I know nothing on safe choppering.

I live in the DC area and I do believe if the weather is poor, the president takes a motorcade to Andrews instead of the chopper.
