Has anybody ever heard of the “Minutemen”? What did they do when thugs started pounding on doors in the neighborhood? I worked for Bill Buckley when he ran for Mayor of New York back in the sixties. Even then he proposed that the people should form neighborhood watch committees to greet people as they visit their area and politely engage and help them with their itinerary. In that way they could be helpful and also care for the security and safety of their neighbors.

Mr. Buckley’s “minutemen,” “neighborhood watch committees”, are really the old time local militias.

I strongly believe the time has come for organizing and “well regulating” them again.

If we let thugs bug our neighborhoods, as we do, alas, we and our culture will fall to the Marxists.

If our culture falls, so will our nation. And if it falls then Islam and communism will rise to fill the vacuum, and our streets will be slippery with our blood.

Neighborhood block watches are a good beginning. The next stage is arming and training those in them.
