Beto O’Rourke dodged a bullet. The Texas congressman came dangerously close to beating Ted Cruz on Tuesday.
Lest his groupies wallow for long in defeat, they should know there’s a lot for them to like about his loss: No getting bogged down in the drudge-work of a freshman senator in the minority or obligation to fulfill his duty to serve out his term.
And, to O’Rourke’s credit, there was no blowout, a fate that would have extinguished his star. Indeed, he showed an unapologetic liberal could compete and almost win in Texas.

The GOP needs to go on the offensive now. Destroy any hope Beto th Fake-o’s will to run again. Expose his real agenda. Shine sunlight on him.

Similarly, on the Republican side, John James should keep his campaign apparatus running and challenge Peters.

If she runs he won’t get the white woman vote, the black woman vote or the soy boys who want to notch another “first” for the dems.
In that scenario the best he can hope for is the VP slot because the Ho actually won an election for the Senate.

These two points are utterly contradictory:

One of the main barriers to entry for smaller business is antitrust. Another is minimum wage, which Bob Frank also supports. Both of these things make it more difficult to create a business and compete with the big guys. I think that’s why Bob Frank supports them.
What a way to waste peoples money! The more he spends, the less for others. Give him credit, unlike Cruz, O’Rourke is a Natural Born Citizen.
So does Kasich pick Flake for his running mate to keep the operation GOPe, or does he choose a Democrat like Anderson did? (There are rumors of Hickenlooper.)
I suspect some TRUMP voters are still pissed at Cruz so they didn't vote for him, maybe even voted for Beto
