BINGO.

Story about Reagan from my book “Reagan: The American President.” He would make anyone feel like that person was the only one in the room. (Clinton did the same thing).

Then Reagan would forget the guy’s name and have to be reminded sometime the next day-—but it wouldn’t matter! He still would make the person feel special.

Obama NEVER did that. Obama’s sole appeal was “first black president.”

Reagan also had The Cold War to thank for galvanizing patriotic sentiment.
