CNNs Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acostas press pass to access the White House was suspended until further notice Wednesday, hours after he engaged in a contentious back-and-forth with President Trump.
Press secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed Acostas tweet in a statement, claiming the suspension of his press credentials stemmed from his placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern. She called the behavior absolutely unacceptable.
Contrary to CNNs assertions, there is no greater demonstration of the Presidents support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not being supportive of a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters over the course of an hour and a half including several from the reporter in question, Sanders said.

Still looking for hits with a stolen video I see.
Pretty scummy.
Maybe the press can get together and have a big pity party cry feast for the loser...
The intern should press assault charges against Acosta.
What a bully. He was going back for another hit.
“Ive just been denied entrance to the WH. Secret Service just informed me I cannot enter the WH grounds for my 8pm hit”

Hes claim he didnt. Well its clear to see on the video that he hit her arm. Hope she files a criminal complaint.
Now Jim is a Martyr. He will asking about his 72 Virgins soon.
It isn’t that he pushed her Arm, it’s that he would not let her have the Microphone and tussled with her.
I was almost expecting POTUS Trump to step off the platform and take care of Acosta himself. He looked pissed.
CNN is acting like Acosta is the only reporter they can send to the WH press briefings. Hogwash. And then April Ryan just standing up and started shouting to the President without him calling on her. I’d consider revoking Ms. Ryan’s as well.
#20. You never left the field of battle first unless you are a winner and the enemy has been destroyed, not just defeated.
By standing firm, the Pres. showed Acosta who the American commander was, and who owned the battlefield.
By laying the responsibility on Acosta and then leaving he would have destroyed the turd by leaving him to the other reporters with the blame on him and the mike in his hand.
Either way, it worked well. Note that there was not a great outcry from the rest of the press when his press pass was pulled. If they defend him then they make him their standard and have to assume any crap he throws out as their own.
I’d make him apologize to that birthstone he gets his pass back if at all.
Big wins these past few days:
1) Gone are the Kavanaugh inquisitors that had midterms
2) Gone is Sessions
3) Gone is Acosta
