Rosenstein doesn’t get to be Acting AG because the 1998 Federal Vacancies Act goes into effect once Sessions steps down, and that Act assigns the job to the AG’s “first assistant officer” which in this case is Whitaker.
The President knows everything. He has the authority to expose all of it, and I believe he will, with a flair which will leave the perps agape, and, I hope, in jail... I am patient now...

Whitaker was Sessions’ chief of staff. His first assistant officer.
The House must move quickly on the investigations on which they have developed tons on indictable information. When the Dems are sworn in that will end it all. There is little time left to move all of the investigations to the DOJ for criminal action.
Right and I guess we can now say that John McCain is alive. IMO, I think Romney is going to be the new “Maverick” in the senate. Romney has this obsession with being liked by the state media [aka The DNC] - kinda odd . . .

True. I switched to episode of Last Man Standing (Mandy and Kyle’s wedding-excellent episode), but I turned it back to Hannity for the last few minutes just to see if I took the bait.
I was watching the mid-term election results on OAN on a YouTube feed last night. The feed suddenly died and didn’t return. I really liked them.

Sessions left in disgrace after being fired for his feckless performance. He is nearly universally reviled by every thinking person on the right for his failure to serve his President, enforce the laws that are important to preserve the republic, and to get out of the weeds of trivial pursuits.
That’s disgrace on a grand scale.

If Whit didn’t agree with Session’s prioritirs he would have resigned as CoS a long time ago.
