I don’t at all like him but can’t see any other in his party with half of his charisma. He’s a shoe-in during the primaries. Who’s more popular with the Dims now?
I agree. I think it’s going to be Ivy League frat boy Roberto for the Dims in 2020. He’s crafting a youthful image similar to BJ Clinton. And he lost. So he won’t have beltway stink on him and can campaign non stop until the primaries start.
Bottom of the ticket will probably be Gillum to get blacks all wee-wee’d up for the ticket. The Deep State will put to bed his corruption “problems” and he will be free to run as VP in 2020.
To be the nominee, Beto is going to have to push aside a lot of older, well-established candidates who won’t go without a fight. And we know how the Dims can stack a deck to give one contender an inside track.
However, Beto’s bundle can buy him the VP slot. And don’t bet some of the frontrunners are already reaching out to him.
