President Trump’s rally Monday on the eve of the midterm election in Cleveland, Ohio reportedly has an even bigger crowd than Trump drew in 2016 at the exact same venue.

The Daily Mail’s U.S. political editor David Martosko said Monday afternoon that the crowd in Cleveland is “already much bigger” than it was when Trump held a rally two weeks before election day in 2016 at the same venue:

QUESTION FOR EVERYONE:

I’ve always questioned what the impact is on these rallies.

For example, within the state they occur, are they usually carried on local TV? If not, then you would think the impact would not be that great.

If Trump has 13,000 at a rally in Cleveland, and there’s 10,000 outside, that’s 23,000 people, but what is the actual draw. IOWs do these 23,000 influence others to vote?

The last month the MSM coverage of the rallies has been minimal.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Don’t think I have an answer for you, but we might get an idea later this evening. Last night, I got to go to the Cape Girardeau rally—it was great. Weird thing my brother and sister in law are on a cruise to the Middle East. They were watching the rally half a world away. I am old enough to remember being gobsmacked at seeing a few minutes of live TV from Europe via Telstar. Amazing times we live in.

” IOWs do these 23,000 influence others to vote?”

YES.. I believe it has a YUGE impact on others. People that attend are so very proud of having gotten IN, having been part of the excitement.

I was at a family wedding with about 175 people on Saturday here in Wisconsin, people were talking about how they knew people that were AT the Mosinee, WI rally, were proud to have stood in line for 6 hours to see Trump.

YES...... they were excited about it. I just hope that we pull this off, to retain both House and Senate.

Best line of last night's Cape Girardeau rally was Rush saying Trump does all this....... pointing to the huge crowd and Biden couldn't fill a phone booth.

Rush is RIGHT.

Go VOTE and let us all know what the count is in your area, if it's high or what? Make phone calls.

You didn’t create the report. Why are you clickbaiting it?

The Daily Mail’s U.S. political editor David Martosko said Monday afternoon that the crowd in Cleveland is “already much bigger” than it was when Trump held a rally two weeks before election day in 2016 at the same venue:

This was the scene in Cleveland about an hour before today’s scheduled rally time, as the crowd recited the Pledge of Allegiance. I was here the last time Trump spoke at the same venue, about two weeks before Election Day 2016. This audience is already much bigger.

1:56 PM - Nov 5, 2018

7,573

3,371 people are talking about this

The rally started at 3:00 PM EST, over one hour after Martosko shared that video.

Word from Cuyahoga: GOP source said Ds were “up” in early voting, Rs were “up more” (I’m sure he means %wise, not in actual #s). That is good news.

Ds need to come out of Cuyahoga +150k to win.

I am of the opinion that the real value of these rallies is the names and registrations for the free tickets. That is going to turn into gold come next election. These will be the people that the Trump camp will turn to to get out the vote in 2020.

If the election turns into a “just hold on” for the GOP, then 2020 will turn into a real wave - a tidal wave in 2020. GOP might even get 60 Senate seats and 60% of the House (260 to 265 seats).
