Let me begin todays article with a statement: there will be no blue wave. The dimms will not take over the House. This is not going to happen. Its all a pollsters wet-dream, aimed at demoralizing the Republican base. But its not working. Heres my premise:
OCTOBER JOBS: +250K
ECONOMY ADDING 1,000 MANUFACTURING JOBS PER DAY
HISPANIC UNEMPLOYMENT ALL TIME LOW
WAGE GAINS STRONGEST IN DECADE
POLL: TRUMP APPROVAL 51%
See, its the economy, stupid. Why would anyone vote for Democrats? Do you think Americans want antifa and social justice warriors running their country into the ground? Now, when things are going so well in the real-world? Also, Trump has the highest approval rating since hes POTUS. Do you mean to tell me people are suddenly turning back against Republicans, because reasons? Because pollsters told you so?

Not to mention the black support for Trump is around 40%....and growing. There is no blue wave, never was.
Get out and VOTE!
Republicans are likely being under-represented in mid-term polls.
As the saying goes, "Statistics Never Lie, But Liars Use Statistics."
The only poll that counts is the one taken on November 6th.
ZERO chance it is that high. Black women are lock step with the DEMs.
Every vote counts. How many elections have come down to a few votes in a recount? Please vote to MAGA.
You are not even close to humble in style. Sorry, keep trying. Your spam really adds to my FR experience here.
/sarcasm off/
People are stupid, people are changeable, people don’t make logical connections, people voted for Obama TWICE. It is entirely possible that the dems take the House. We need to prevent it by voting.
I agree with VP...republicans are going to keep the house.....
(Is that a sin?)
:)
You didn’t lie. You changed your mind after you took the poll.
Lurk all week don’t get a chance to post until the weekend. I hope all God fearing FReepers are on their knees.
40% is likely very optimistic , but it’s a hell-of-a-lot higher than ever....which will spell doom for dems. Add hispanics who aren’t in tune with illegals jumping to the front of a line they spent years navigating.
There are a couple of things here that do actually affect the polling and some that do not.
Generic ballot is bull crap. It’s like saying Hillary won the national popular vote by three million, but doesn’t say that she won California, a blue state by four million. Generic ballot (Dems +6) doesn’t mean anything.
If the election were today, who would you vote for? Same crap, different way of trying to validate Generic ballot. I voted straight Republican ticket because rats are slime and I love my country. On November 9, 2016 I already knew that in this election I was voting straight Republican ticket.
Now to the blue wave. What actually defines a blue wave? 29 seats according to the pundits are in play. Rats win 23 they take congress. From what I have seen, the same pundits are saying that the rats already have 19 of them. Fact is, if the rats get their 23, it is a blue wave. Of course no one is taking into account seats rats could lose. They are only reporting on what Republicans can lose.
Finally, I submit that if the rats only get 22 and Republicans hold the house, It is still a blue wave. Just broke to early from reaching the shore.
Diamond and Silk said so.
It is not at all just with pollsters.
Most people I know never answer any call not from a number on their contact list.
This is proven in almost every internal exam, save Rasmussen's. They use typical voting histories to determine the split among Dems, Repubs, and Indies. Republicans are generally underrepresented by 7-10 %
To properly balance that is anethema to pollsters because they'd have to admit voters do not embrace their worldview. They may try to acknowledge the point with over representation of indies, but indies more likely go to Trump 2 to 1, imho.
And remember that so far DjT has rendered all past conventional wisdom to be bunk.
You're right. Great point!
It appears to me that Demcrats love to express their opinions to either other Demcrats or yell at someone else if they don’t agree with them. It is important over all else that they be heard. On the other hand, most conservatives prefer to let their actions speak louder than their words, and therefore are reluctant to thrust themselves on people that they don’t know. I have hung up on pollsters for years because I know what self serving, full of crap organizations that they are. I suspect that most other conservatives are the same. Therfore all of the polls that are paid for are bogus and are likely to be totally wrong. Yet, let them tout them all they want, because it will cause them more pain when they realize that they have been used. AGAIN...
