This is yesterday morning's NY Times paper. Right there, at the top of fold is this title:

"A FERVENT TRUMP BACKER IS SEIZED IN PIPE BOMB SPREE"

But hey, remember when Steve Scalise was shot by a "fervent" Bernie Sanders supporter? Did we see the headline

"A FERVENT BACKER OF BERNIE SANDERS SHOOTS GOP REP. STEVE SCALISE, GRAVELY WOUNDING HIM"?

Nope.

This was the headline instead

There was some article a day or so ago that stated “older people have more trouble separating opinion from fact.” I suppose the author wanted to say older people were too discerning, maybe, and a threat. Here opinion is provided as fact and we aren’t supposed to see the bias.

Back in 2000 The Arizona Republic wrote a scathing false information article about the Bush/Republican tax cuts.
