“It’s cheaper to grab a chicken fried steak skillet at Denny’s.”

Califreak,

My beloved is an extremely pickey eater. I don’t mean as doesn’t eat much... he chooses one restaurant for a particular item and will not order anything else at that place.

For Denny’s it’s their Ham & Cheese omelet with onions. They dice up the ingredients just as he would at the house and most places just have huge bits of ingredients. They’ve yet to disappoint him. LOL

McDonald’s eggs cause me to have an upset stomach, no matter which place I order them at and I’ve given up on them. Their Big Mac, however was always my weak spot along with their fries before they switched frying oil. Sigh.

I’m an extremely picky eater too. I kind of do the same thing your husband does. When I go to Denny’s I won’t order anything else!

I agree about the eggs at McDonald’s. It’s hard to mess up eggs, but somehow they manage to.

I always had a hard time deciding between the Bic Mac, Quarter Pounder or the Filet o Fish but that was back in the day when they were actually good.

Their fries are still okay I guess but the rest of it is just meh. I do miss the old days when everything was done fresh on location in real beef fat! The fries were just to die for.

Seems like before they started all this crap about health, salt, fat and cholesterol that we were all healthier and food tasted better.
