Hamilton is the guy who despised the average man, called the people a ‘Great Beast’ Wanted the president to serve for life (inspiring many turd world leaders, I suppose). He also wanted state governors appointed by the President and have veto power over any state legislative action. He also was a big proponent of ‘National Grandeur’ which meant an aggressive foreign policy and a big army. Hamilton definitely believed that the mass of the population could be permanently duped with organized distraction and his National Grandeur circus. In short AH wanted the new USA to be Great Britain with real teeth.
