A few observations from a former bomb disposal officer (i.e. Me):
1. Proper pipe bombs don't have wires connected to both ends. That's dumb.
2. You can find timers / remote control receivers WAY smaller than whatever that white box is. A proper timer would best be stored inside the pipe, making it fully encapsulated. That thing is just silly looking.
3. "Hoax Devices" are FAR more common than real ones. In which case, we should ask ourselves what the motives of the "bomber" are and "who benefits?" Go ahead. Think deeply and critically.
4. Bottom Line: Whoever made that wanted it to be painfully obvious to anyone and everyone that it's a "bomb."
This is nearly the same as a bundle of road flares wrapped together with an old-timey alarm clock ticking away.
And whoever it is is watching all this on the news.
Check out the image of the alleged bomb sent to CNN, courtesy of CNN’s web site.
It must be fake.
Theres a 13-ounce weight limit for stamped mail, specifically to prevent things like this (bombs).
It went into effect after the Unabomber. Anything mailed with stamps wont go through, it gets returned to sender.
The weight is likely more than 13 ounces.
A standard Swingline stapler is 16 ounces. So on that basis alone it should not have gone through the mail system.
Secondly, it has 6 stamps which means $3 in postage, but a 13-oz package for reference, even if it was that light which I doubt, it mails at $6.55 (13 stamps).
And it appears none of the stamps are canceled. Nothing adds up at all.
And, notice: Return address: Florida spelled wrong and Schultz spelled wrong. Brennan’s name spelled wrong. Notice stamps do not have the postal stamp covering them..... so these were hand delivered?
And then the question is whether he’s been sheep-dipped well enough to stand up to scrutiny before the media can declare it a non-story and bury it.
I would have the secret service interview clock boy!
Of course
The one found in the mailbox at the Soros Westchester estate was recognized as a bomb by the employee who found it and hustled it out to the woods immediately. This raises so many obvious questions it isn’t funny.
I won’t be surprised if it’s a foreigner....usually they are easily ‘hired’.
Looks and sounds like a RAT SNL skit.
That thing is nothing but a paper weight. (No one puts the ignition wires in like that - won't work)
5. There is no way that the small digital alarm clock could supply enough juice to detonate the ‘bomb’.
Jim Acosta?
Yes...the investigation will not take long....the rats will once again be bit in the ass.
Poorly executed psyop.....will be interesting as to the ‘fall guy’ identity.
Am I the only one craving a Costco hot dog right now...
They had to be. How could that many pieces of "mail", supposedly mailed from one person go to all of these places and arrive on the same day ... pretty much at the same hour.
Heck, I can mail four letters to four different people, all living in the same town, and normally have them arrive on different days.
Even if the bombs gain little sympathy for the Dim candidates, they bumped the caravan visual from the cable channels. Mission accomplished
Problem
It is not even an alarm clock, it is just a clock, nothing more
No alarm/timer circuit, so no piozo speaker circuit to get current from = NO BOMB DETONATION
The prediction here is that this is not the work of a pubbie, but of a democRAT working out an October surprise. Look at the targets, Hillary, Obama, Brennan, Wasserman. All (big names) are out of the picture, unlike Pelosi, Schumer, Hiawatha, Spartacus, Bernie et. al.
Drudge had a picture on home page.
