Our early voting started yesterday at the Charlotte Mid-County Library. The title article caught my eye this morning.
Two Republican poll workers arrived, much earlier than normal library opening, and had just exited their car when they saw a car go airborne into the canal adjoining the library property. They ran to the canal, one grabbed a brick from the landscape edging to break windows. Both jumped in and found an elderly couple in the rapidly sinking car. The couple had been able to roll the windows down but the door locks would not release. The poll workers each pulled one victim out a window and took them to safety.
The thought struck me after reading this that it is a good thing no Dem poll worker was there to snap a pic of the victims being pulled out of the car. By now it would have gone viral with a post of how Republicans were caught trying to drown elderly Dem voters.
Good story!
Thanks Tax-chick,
If I knew how to post the article I would have had all of the facts straight, but I still would have had the bad thought about Dems.
Understandable!
Dims would have had them fill out a ballot before pulling them out of the water.
I love you.
Same!
Should have asked you voting for republican or democrat first.
Electric everything on the newer cars fail when wet.
