That's assuming she's telling the truth in the first place.

The lawyer doesn't care if she's telling the truth or not as long as they're getting paid.
Who turns down an easy $2500-$3000 (estimate on my part) even when the outcome is highly doubtful? (as long as they inform their customer client up front of the situation)
The worst thing the lawyer has to worry about is not getting repeat business.

I meant if Hostin was telling the truth about actually getting those cases to trial, but you are correct. It’s about the money too.
