Tuesday on ABC’s “The View,” co-host Meghan McCain said the swearing-in ceremony last night forSupreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh was “tone-deaf.”

Sunny Hostin said, “He turned a supreme court confirmation into a political rally.”
She added, “To see him talk politically at a swearing-in ceremony is so beyond the pale, it was so inappropriate. It hurt me to watch.”
Meghan McCain said, “The optics are important. I agree that the ceremony aspect I would have pulled immediately. I actually — had I been emotionally capable of being on the show at the time this happened the second Kavanaugh had that accusation I would have pulled him and put up Amy Coney Barrett. I didn’t understand why we let the circus continue. But believe whatever polls we want, but it has galvanized a lot of people. I do think for conservative women we are being asked questions that are very hard to answer in a lot of different ways, but I would have left out — I agree that optically it was tone-deaf.”

She is as stupid as her father. That’s exactly what he would have recommended. Then there would have been no further action until after the election. Then they would have made something up on Barrett. Rinse and repeat.

YOu can see where this idiocy starts.
Bottom line, young lady, is that finally we have someone in the oval office who defends the people he puts in office. Jusdge Kavanaugh was a Bush judge. He was part of the good ole boys group, that included your Dad.
So, at the first sign of friction and push back you drop him? That’s what any other president would do.
Plus, you can see that President Trump thought this thru very carefully, and said that this was a departure of what is usual and customary, and he went on to apologize.

Meghan on the View is the perfect microcosm to what happens to SCOTUS justices on the DC cocktail party circuit. They become deathly afraid of being shamed, and walk on eggshells all the time. This is why it’s good to have someone in there who is already pretty much shunned by “the elite”. We need more people like Kavanaugh.
Well, Mini-McCain...he got nominated, and he got confirmed, and now he’s a sworn-in, bonafied, official, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Everyone at the ceremony stood, and applauded for him, and guess what Meghan...

Don’t try and cloak yourself into your late father’s mantel of, er, seniority...you have no position, no clout, and no influence on what’s going on in DC. Being on a TV show of liberal Pitt Bull-dykes is a total nothing burger.

Meghan is the counterpoint cow to Whoppee! Both need to be put out to pasture for good!
I guess she wasn’t concerned about the grandeur, excess and use of taxpayers money that was associated with her father’s endless funeral, never saw it before for a senator, and doubt they did it for Webster, Clay or the other few real giants of the Senate.
