Yes, that's what I'm reading too. As I'm sure you already know, Kavanaugh was officially sworn in right after the Senate vote on Saturday, and will start work with the other SC justices tomorrow. I assume he's in the Supreme Court building right now -- on this Columbus Day holiday -- getting ready with his law clerks. All four of whom are female, btw. ;-)

I’m sure that right after the Senate vote, somebody showed up with a stack of reading material for him about pending cases, and he’s been catching up.
