Agreed. Granted I am a bit older & not from the East Coast, but MY public school’s admin would have turned the evidence over to the cops!
Also granted that the former mayor’s son once told some of us at a reunion that the cops had years ago broken up a kegger attended by him, among others. The kids were just sent home, except I believe the older guy who bought the kegs was prosecuted on some other charge. Still, I know our Principal would not have had tolerance for anything . at all like that showing up in the yearbook! And, none ever did!
