Do a little checking and see if this Debra Katz was ever a member of the communist National Lawyers Guild.
That name rings a bell (though there are a lot of Debra Katz(s) in the US.
If anyone has the 1979 edition of Information Digest, check that though I don’t know if this Katz was old enough to be a lawyer back then.
The same for the Center for Constitutional Rights, a CPUSA/NLG creation (by William Kunstler, Arthur Kinoy, possible identified Communist Party member Morton Stavis, and the always suspect Peter Weiss (Institute for Policy Studies and husband of Hanoi’s key asset in the US, Cora Weiss).
There are some volumes roughly entitled “Encyclopedia of the Left or On the Left” and a newer one of similar structure (I don’t have them). Can someone check them?
