A noble effort which might change some minds but the only way to school Jim Carrey would be to roll up the newspaper and swat him on the nose with it.

2) It is mandatory that socialist countries curtail freedom. To this end, a police state must be established to extinguish dissent. Even to the point of death.
Other than that, socialism is great.

Venezuelans by the tens of thousands have been fleeing their country in such high numbers that some neighboring nations are now closing their borders, while indigenous citizens rebel against the wave of humanity caused by President Nicolas Maduro’s ‘very equitable, fair, and wonderful’ socialism.
The situation in the country is so bad Venezuela has gone from one of the world’s top producers and exporters of oil to beggar of Chinese largess.
As for Carrey, he’s free to give as much of his millions away as he wants “to the people.” Which of course beats having it taken from him by the government by force and then redistributed at the pleasure and direction of a dictator.
Has Jim Carrey ever made a movie that inspired civilization? I can’t think of one. His only formula for comedy is debased behaviors. Entertaining but not enlightening.
What’s the problem. All you need is a great scriptwriter, a decent director, some good editing. It’ll be grand!
When Carrey moves to Venezuela AND gives up 80-90% of his money, to include his offshore sh*t, then I might buy into his socialism rhetoric (not).........
I was in Canada on 9/11/2001 staying at a B&B. I was having coffee with the nice lady and she started talking about guns, me being American and all. She whispered to me that her husband keeps a pistol buried in a coffee can in the barn even though it’s illegal. She explained her husband escaped from east Berlin when he was a teen, so he knows what can happen.
