But, if as you say, a woman helicopter pilot takes a portion of Ranger school that applies to her MOS, that's the perfect blend of acknowledging the shortcomings and augmenting the woman's talents.
Maybe there should be a special division and rank or whatever you call that. Some people could be Ranger Specialists, meaning they passed a section of Ranger school that's directly applicable to their MOS. Their ranger tab could be a different color for those that put a lot of emphasis on what salad a soldier is wearing.
I like that you granted that females have some skills and didn't just dismiss them because they're girls.

Agreed. My son’s excellence his first day on the firing line at Marine Boot camp led to his instructor saying, “Where did you learn to shoot like that?”
His answer was simple, “My mom.”
There are many singular or multiple expertises women have that are wasted because they do not have the whole package due to physical limitations.
in the second world war, the underground functioned because of women, planes were delivered where they were needed because of women, war machines were built because of women and on and on. Rather than playing all these allotment or PC games, let common sense dictate where and even when, women can be an effective addition. I am sick and tired of the constant attacks on men of every shape and description. There are some things women can’t do. Nobody was ever more physically fit than I was in my prime. Whereas I would have no trouble pulling a drowning 250 pound man to safety in the ocean, I could never throw a wounded man over my shoulder and carry him to safety on land. Common Sense needs to be brought back into perspective. Put an end to all the political correctness once and for all. If a woman wants a position LET HER EARN IT. I did. In a Man’s World.
