I have a little .22 silencer on a semi-automatic rifle. With sub-sonic rounds, the loudest sound in the bolt coming back.
You can get rubber coated parts to make that go away. My 77/22 and Norrell 10/22 are SUPER quiet. An idling car will mask ALL noise.
