They probably do. A big part of it is drugging young men throughout their childhood, hiding their juvenile records from NICS, and then waiting for the brain chemistry to change in early adult hood so the effects of the drugs flip.
Another part is the militarization of the police and creating the “thin blue line” mentality. Note that the stickers show the darkness on BOTH sides of that line.
Add on the surveillance state, the “permanent record” that renders you unemployable and no longer credit worthy.
Then, you take advantage of the couch potato mentality.
It goes on and on.
Every police officer, deputy, gendarme, paramilitary, security officer and secret agent on Earth could not confiscate the firearms from Portland, Oregon or Flint, Michigan without incurring such losses as to be alarming.
