They had ways of getting around taxes so the lower tax rate isn’t as big an issue as cheap labor. I work there and happen to know they view China more highly as a market than the US - which has had stagnant sales for several years. Nike was conceived and built on cheap foreign labor - something the Democrats endorse. Nike isn’t really an American company - it’s just that it’s founders live in Oregon.
