Well, yes. It seems “orange” is actually part of their name.
Well, the orang means “person” in Malay, not orange, although it’s ironic that the Dutch (House of Orange) controlled much of the orangutan’s range in the Dutch East Indies. The -utan means “woods”. Man of the woods. Don’t know the status of their souls.
