I have had a couple 9mm’s in Keltec. The joke I heard is that they were called “Jammamatics”

I do have a sub 2000 - gen 1 in 9mm and that is a nice gun. I keep that in the side pocket in my pickup.

I had a KelTec P3AT (.380) that was not reliable, got rid of it.

I still have a KelTeck P-11 9mm DAO (double action only for you non-gunnies) and it runs great. Ten round magazine in a very concealable 9mm pocket pistol, and very affordable.

It’s easy to shoot accurately, the DA trigger “stacks” reliably and fast to the rear after the DA reset, the last 1/4” travel makes it go bang. I can keep rapid fire shots in a few inches at ten yards.

It is finicky with some ammo, but when you find a bullet shape/length that works, and you buy a case of it, no more problems.

My only experience with Kel-tec was with a 9mm. First shot went bang. Second shot went bang. Third went click. They said it was likely ammo with “hard primers”, but I saw it as something I sure could not trust.
