Not sure I see the problem.
I am speaking as an American in Vietnam. But this seems to be the case everywhere. Everywhere. There are some women who are wonderful, who are ready to give themselves to one and only man for life. Then there others, where things are not so simple.
I think deciding which is which is simpler in Vietnam, but maybe I am wrong. But it is the same in Korea, the same in America, the same in Japan, the same in Europe.
There are some guys who are trustworthy, there are others who will treat women like nothing. There are other guys who just want one woman. There are good and bad people, of both sexes, everywhere.
Not sure exactly what the author is saying. But is seems like he’s speaking truth.
At least from one perspective.
