Mueller never expected these charges against Manafort to go to trial. He thought he could get Manafort to testify against Trump. There is nothing for Manafort to testify against Trump. Praying for not guilty on all charges. Shut down Mueller.

If the jury comes back with a not guilty verdict, then Trump could immediately fire Mueller and effectively call it a witch hunt. If they come back with a guilty verdict Trump will simply issue a pardon. Mueller is in a no win situation.
I’m betting not guilty because the prosecution simply didn’t prove their case. If the jury is hung, the Manifort team has the entire prosecution playbook for the next trial. The prosecution doesn’t have Manifort’s playbook because they didn’t play.
