Wife and I have older MOTO E phones, never had a battery issue
You can get small adapters for a little more than $1 each.
You should contact Verizon tech support. They might know more than us Freepers.
When I quit using Samsung and got my AT&T LG G6, the battery would last eight hours. I contacted tech support (611)and they got into it remotely and fixed it. Said some things needed to be turned off. Whatever they were, I haven’t missed them.
Friends all telling me to go Iphone (I’m resisting), and I don’t want to ‘brick’ my phone.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, have you found a solution

Listen to your friends.
Looks that will be my future when it’s time to replace phones.
Your battery may be going bad. A new one at Amazon is $10 to $15 Otherwise start with a factory reset. Add only the apps you use. Add them 1 at a time and use it before adding a 2nd or 3rd to see which app is draining the battery.
I bought a new LG3 for $65 at Ebay. I have bought a total of 3 this year with no issues.

Yes I am on Marshmallow (6.01) on a Blackberry Priv and do not have this issue. Everything I read indicated that if you updated to at least Lollipop (5.x) this problem should go away.
Are you on Marshmallow release (6x)? My battery life improved when I upgraded from Lollipop.
Download the Malwarebytes app and run it.
The “About” on the device says Android Version 6.0.1. I guess that would be Marshmallow.
The battery issue doesn’t really bother me. I charge it every night when I’m sleeping so don’t have problems. When my hubby has to charge his flip phone every four or five days, I get a little jealous, though. :)
The only time I have battery issues is when I am losing 4G LTE signal. Verizon is my carrier and I live out in the middle of nowhere so sometimes even when it says 4G LTE it is really not. Can tell when the phone gets hot. On 1X signal no matter what the Verizon tells me.
