Tuna fish is the only fish I eat, but I prefer Bumble Bee’s premium light tuna packed in water for tuna melts. I put onion, celery, dill relish, seasoned salt, pepper, and mayo in the salad mix, use American or Cheddar cheese slices, butter on the outside of the bread, and put it in a fry pan to toast until it gets a golden brown crust on the outside. Just had some last week! Yum!

I like Bumble Bee albacore tuna.

But the king of canned tuna in my opinion is the very spendy olive oil Bonita albacore tuna from Spain.

Yellow fin has less mercury but not as tasty as albacore.

Sounds delish, but all that work just for a sandwich, I dunno, I’m too lazy *sighs* I’m so used to eating simply for sustenance not caring enough about the taste.

Your grilled tuna salad with melted cheese sounds yummy. Mayo and tuna are heavenly.
You might want to try this no-mayo Thai Tuna Salad.....from an accomplished caterer.

Thai Tuna Salad
Mix canned tuna, thin-sliced red onion, gingeroot, red-pepper flakes, lots of lime juice, cilantro, olive oil, s/p.
Toss in a few chp peanuts. SERVE w/ rice crackers.

Albacore Tuna, light mayo, olive oil, chopped onions and hot pickled peppers, relish(dill or sweet), salt/pepper in a bowl. Eat on crackers with pickles on the side.
