GOING TO NASHVILLE
Posted on 08/10/2018 9:39:22 AM PDT by DIRTYSECRET
I'll be there on election day supporting Ms. Blackburn. Where should I hang out? I'll have time to check out the Ryman, Grand Old Opry, even Knoxville. Southern belle accents are my favorite along with the cuisine.

Hey, I went there for it in 1982. Not bad, but it cost a pretty penny for it.

Must be from New York.

A walk around Vanderbilt area is nice, bookshops, coffee, music... More laid back tgan the rest of the downtown area.
Gruhn’s music is cool, if you play.
The Ryman isn’t what it used to be but that particular area is interesting. It is a T-trap, but think back on what it used to be.

If you get to Lynchburg you should take the short drive over to Cascade Hollow and Tullahoma to tour the George Dickel distillery. There is a free tour and a $10 “tasting” tour. Well worth it. I’ll do it again.
