They are terrible. We are all in agreement. But Trump was the first guy, who was brave enough to take them on.

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents Congress from making any law respecting an establishment of religion, prohibiting the free exercise of religion, or abridging the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the right to peaceably assemble, or to petition for a governmental redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights. You're right they are terrible AND Trump is the first person to call them out.
What Dana Milbank doesn't 'get' is that it's OK for the million of people in the United States who are dissatisfied with bias in the press to express it. We have freedom of religion too - and that DOES NOT mean that religious groups can't be criticized. Milbank should understand that - the Post criticizes Religious groups...it's a free country after all.
