I agree. Even German Shepherds like to be active, but it’s at a level that most people can handle. There’s people who can keep any sort of dog, but they are far from average. They’ll devote the time and study that a more demanding breed requires.
That part I agree with.
Even German Shepherds aren’t all that good at tracking. Pit’s for K-9’s what could go wrong?
It turns out that I read the news. Pit bulls lead the statistics on dogs that kill and maim people. Facts are facts.
Okay Jihad GingisK.
They do taste good on the grill.
Ewww. You’re a cannibal. What part of the human body is your favorite? Thigh? Glutes? The sausage?

ONTARIO
A dangerous pit bull seized from a dog-fighting ring in Ontario, Canada, scheduled to be euthanized, instead has been “saved” by pit bull promoters and is on his way to K-9 police dog training
The OSPCA said at the time of the seizure that expert dog rehabilitators determined the dogs “were the most game dogs they have ever seen. They are not pets, their focus is to kill.”

Link just sent me to main website I guess?
Anyhow questions: has a pit bull trained as a k9, in whatever capacity, ever snapped and attacked its handler or anyone or any dog it wasn’t supposed to? Seems like that would be a big story that wouldn’t get past something called ‘national pit bull victim awareness’, ha. I don’t know if there are restrictions on what type of dogs allowed that are expected to latch onto someone and hold them. I think I have only heard of gsd doing this?

I do not know. This is part of the research regarding your question about the numbers of trained pit bulls attacking their owners and/or whether training trumps genetics. I will attempt to send you other links and information if you wish me to continue. Sorry, my apologies that this was not of help. Norski.
Thanks, but don’t do any thing special. Just keep your eyes peeled, I will too. From now on I will see if the ‘sweet and lovable’ description of a dog that supposedly suddenly snaps and mauls also includes any details about its training.
