Another mystic breech locking system like the Blish lock used in the early Thompson Submachine guns? That was shown to be hogwash with the introduction of the WWII M1 submachine gun that was essentially identical to the Model 1928 except the M1 incorporated a solid bolt of the same size as the complex 1928 bolt. The M1 operated as a simple blow back design.

Nice gun. However, it is way too pricy. They need to get the price down to under $1,000.

It’s an interesting round. It’s on the lottery fantasy list...but not the short list. I would love to see this same model in 9x23.

Came across this when comparing the 5.7x28mm to the .223/5.56x45
These rounds serve different purposes. The .223 is really a rifle round and suffers when put in a short barreled weapon with quite a bit of muzzle blast. It has more recoil and energy. The fn 5.7 was originally designed as a round for crew served weapons such as the p90 a submachine gun. It has really light recoil and is quite useful but less powerful. The 5.7 can make a neat pistol round with high capacity and very little recoil.

It’s today’s iteration of a certain kind of clickbait from some marginally literate blogpimps, and nothing more.

I’m guessing he meant to say “personal defense weapon for soldiers on crew-served weapons”.

You need to get Gun Jesus (Ian of Forgotten Weapons) to take this thing apart, for all to see.
Then he can pronounce on its reality.
