There is a lot of hyperbole in this blogpost. This was not a final ruling, just a ruling on a government motion.

The gist of the order is- “you need to provide more evidence.”

While this individual is a grade A scumbag and, in a more civilized world, would have already been hung by the neck until dead. Stripping citizenship of someone should require overwhelming evidence and a trial.

Additionally, as this is an Obama appointee, the government lawyers should have anticipated that this judge will make their job hard and prepared accordingly.
