Would it be politically incorrect to point out that a famous homosexual activist referred to himself as Luke Sissyfag?

Rule of thumb- Just avoid tweeting.

But if you have to tweet and use social media, at least conceal your true identity.

The local sports radio station was talking about social media and baseball a few months ago - before this came out. Talked about how twitter, etc. was a big thing in Basketball, and brought interest to the games, etc. with the trash talk and other crap.

I understand that bad publicity is still publicity, but I really don’t think it’s a great idea to promote this kind of crap among the players.

People need to stop apologizing to the violent, intolerant Left; these are not racist or homophobic tweets.

I know Fortune 500 companies that check a prospective employee’s social media history before hiring. Are we supposed to believe MLB did NOT do that...?

Snort.

I don’t.

This is all about forcing everyone to bow at the altar of the liberal altar of racial bias and sexual deviance. The left hates Trump because he won’t bend the knee. They know that if they can bring down the President, there will not be a single politician with the cojones to oppose their homo-nazi agenda.

Ignore it. Quit wasting your time and money on entertainment fantasies. Get away from those who falsely pretend to be so easily offended. Try to improve your own real circumstances. Befriend your own kind. Don’t be a busybody or gossip in your real community.

There ought to be a statute of limitations for social media just as there is for crimes.
If it is more than 7 years old, it doesn’t matter unless it is an ongoing issue.

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”

Baseball hasn’t been made enough of a tool of the left. Yet.

Yes, this is all about getting MLB to hire diversity coordinators and community outreach directors from the ranks of former Democrat political operatives to “end the scourge of racism” and destroy MLB as an American institution, the way they have already done with the NFL and NBA.

The term judgrment is a bit overloaded in modern usage. What we should not do is to condemn the person in our hearts so we despise them and become incapable of wishing their ultimate good. As far as judging which is part of prudence as a citizen in a democracy this does not apply. When we morally criticize another we should be sure we are doing it from a humble place as a fellow sinner and out of a love (agape) for their good...and never as a stroking of our own moral ego. Judging that Hilary is politcally corrupt and should not be elected or belongs in jail is something which ought be done thoughtfully and fairly without malice.

I welcome civil discussions on ethics. Earlier you touched on the difference of judging others over things one does oneself and things one does not do oneself, and you offered to explain more. Did you mean that its ok judge soneone else’s behavior if and only if one does not engage in the same behavior?

One of your posts...BTW...if you recall it at all....

Tell me what Paul had to say about judging..,,,and how and when it should be done,.........

You know we can re-wind..and go back to the first post I responded to.

Or quit right now....I know what Paul said...

I really don't care what you said..

I'm quite sure....you will have the last word....
