But they know how to commit violence. Look at the rallies and protests. It's the Left who are out there breaking and burning things, beating people up. Having more guns than they do doesn't matter if they're the only ones willing to use them.

The Left is more willing to initiate violence, because they are sure they can escape long-term consequences. Look at William Ayers, Angela Davis, and the rest of the 1960's revolutionaries. Meanwhile, any right-winger who engages in violence becomes unemployable (because employers know that the Left will hound any company caught hiring them).

This changes radically once violence becomes common and general.
